Being homeless is not strictly a reality in 3rd world countries or countries at war. As cities grow more each day sadly enough homeless people grow with them. While it is humans first necessity in life and the right to have a place you can call home is not a given to unfortunately many.
The invincible inhabitant ´´lives´´ also in the Jordaan neighborhood. How can you tell someone is homeless? Be surprised that the typical stigma of a non showered individual wearing ragged clothes or being an alcoholic is not always the case. Being homeless...
Proud & Pride Jordaan Amsterdam
Many cities around the world invite and welcome the LGBTQ+ community. Along with American cities like San Francisco, Miami, New York, in the middle eastern Tel Aviv, and Europe with Barcelona, Berlin and London, also Amsterdam ranks high being open minded and tolerant to love who and what you like and love.
For centuries Amsterdammers have been open towards ‘’’different’’ lifestyles, what you do is your business that many inhabitants of our Dutch capitol till this day will agree to!

Working out is far beyond the only reason to get your sweat on when it's soon summertime which means; bikini time around the corner! A healthy and trained body in every size or shape is a big bonus for sure, but the positive mind set is the number one reason also our small team packs their sports and yoga bags on an almost daily basis all year around.

Like most women and men we all want a good hairdo. Long, short, bold, curly, straight, natural color or blue, we all have our own hairstyle. Some have the luck to wake up every morning with perfect hair, some unfortunately don’t. But thanks to the hair Gods for all the salons and hair stylists that are there to the rescue!

King’s Day, when the Jordaan colors orange!
What we now know as Koningsdag (King’s Day) started back in 1885 to 1890 as Prinsessendag (Princess day), which later changed to Koninginnedag (Queensday) from 1891 till 2013. Reason for this annual event is to celebrate the birthdays of princesses, queens and now King Willem-Alexander who was crowned in 2013 to become the new King to the Netherlands. The tradition continued on April 27th 2014 when it’s the King's birthday that all Dutch people can celebrate by turning the country into a big party!
