Proud & Pride Jordaan Amsterdam

Proud & Pride Jordaan Amsterdam

Many cities around the world invite and welcome the LGBTQ+ community. Along with American cities like San Francisco, Miami, New York, in the middle eastern Tel Aviv, and Europe with Barcelona, Berlin and London, also Amsterdam ranks high being open minded and tolerant to love who and what you like and love.

For centuries Amsterdammers have been open towards ‘’’different’’ lifestyles, what you do is your business that many inhabitants of our Dutch capitol till this day will agree to!

After a two year pauze because of COVID-19 regulations Pride returns with this years theme;  ‘’My Gender, My Pride’’ including the world famous annual Amsterdam Canal Parade returns...

let's get physical

let's get physical

Working out is far beyond the only reason to get your sweat on when it's soon summertime which means; bikini time around the corner! A healthy and trained body in every size or shape is a big bonus for sure, but the positive mind set is the number one reason also our small team packs their sports and yoga bags on an almost daily basis all year around.

Reason for this annual event is to celebrate the birthdays of princesses, queens and now King Willem-Alexander who was crowned in 2013 to become the new King to the Netherlands. The tradition continued on April 27th 2014 when it’s the King's birthday that all Dutch people can celebrate by turning the country into a big party!

On that day small villages, larger cities including Amsterdam and the Jordaan canals turn...

Asian fusion with some funky beats

Asian fusion with some funky beats

The Jordaan neighborhood has built itself a name when it comes down to getting a good bite out. Bordering the bustling Haarlemmerbuurt area is a snack and dine route which always brings us to our absolute favorite go to restaurant De vrouw met de baard, translated The bearded woman

As the outdoor slogan describes; Street Food from Brooklyn to Bali is owned and runned but the magical duo Mas van de Putten en Carl Lemette included help from Tamara and family dog Robbie, surrounded...
